Effect of oil and surfactants on changes in some physical properties of soils

Abstract The paper shows that oil pollution of gray forest and soddy-podzolic soils led to a decrease in capillary water capacity, plasticity solid phase soils. As result the introduction nonionic surfactant tween-80 into oil-contaminated soil, these indicators were partially restored, but their values remained lower than soil samples subjected treatment. obtained materials allow us speak about fundamental possibility using surfactants for remediation
